2nd Annual North Country Public Health Conference

2nd Annual North Country Public Health Conference
The 2nd Annual North Country Public Health Conference comes to the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire on October 13 and 14, 2026, hosted by the North Country Health Consortium and presented in partnership with North Country Healthcare. Built around the theme Rooted in Resilience: Growing Health, Cultivating Connection, this two-day gathering brings together public health professionals, healthcare and behavioral health providers, educators, community organizations, businesses, students, policymakers, and community leaders from across New Hampshire and beyond.
Following an inaugural year that reached capacity with more than 160 attendees, 20 exhibitors, and 18 educational sessions, the 2026 conference expands to two full days of learning, collaboration, and networking. Sessions are organized across five tracks: Special Populations, SUD and Behavioral Health, Community Needs, Leadership and Workforce, and Municipal Public Health, with a Clinical Crossover thread running throughout.
Day One opens with keynote speaker Andrew Seefeld on The Emotional Blueprint: Understanding the Patterns Beneath Stress, Coping, and Connection, followed by a North Country Healthcare sponsored plenary on building rural healthcare pathways through partnership. Concurrent sessions and extended workshops over both days address screen time and attention, mobile integrated healthcare in rural communities, burnout and compassion fatigue, conflict and misinformation, environmental exposures in the North Country, eldercare, youth mental health, suicide postvention, recovery-friendly workplaces, gambling addiction in the digital age, and practical process improvement for teams. Networking lunches, a vendor hall, and a poster showcase run on both days.
Registration is open now, and there are opportunities to attend, present a poster, exhibit as a vendor, or support the conference as a sponsor. Register and view the full agenda at nchcnh.org.
