For nearly five decades, Theatre UP has helped bring live theatre, creativity, and community connection to downtown Littleton, New Hampshire. Now in its 47th season, the nonprofit organization produces musicals, plays, youth theatre, workshops, and educational programming that welcome performers and audiences of all ages. Mainstage productions are performed at the historic Littleton Opera House and regularly draw audiences from across the North Country. Known for high-quality productions with a strong sense of heart and community, Theatre UP creates opportunities for local residents, students, volunteers, and artists to take part both on stage and behind the scenes. Founded in 1978 following a community production in nearby Lisbon, NH, the organization continues to play an important role in Littleton’s arts and cultural identity. Theatre UP is currently renovating Theatre UP on Main, a new downtown arts and education center scheduled to open in September 2026. The space will support classes, rehearsals, workshops, offices, and intimate performances while helping expand access to the performing arts throughout the region.
