Featured Member: Littleton Chevrolet
Featured member Littleton Chevrolet has been a cornerstone of the Littleton community since 1992, offering a combination of reliable vehicle sales, expert service, and consistent community support. As part of the AutoSaver Group, which operates 13 dealerships across New Hampshire and Vermont, Littleton Chevrolet stands out for its dedication to both its customers and its hometown values.
Committed to the Community
General Manager Duane Coute, who has been with the dealership since its founding, emphasizes the importance of community engagement. “We couldn’t do it without the assistance of our customers, trusting us and doing a wonderful job for them and giving them a great experience,” said Coute. That trust is repaid through consistent local support efforts. Whether it’s participating in parades, lending vehicles, or donating to causes, Littleton Chevrolet is committed to giving back.
Their community involvement includes a wide range of events and initiatives. From EV safety training for firefighters across New Hampshire and Vermont, to annual teacher donations that help cover classroom expenses, Littleton Chevrolet plays a vital role in the region. “Over the years, we’ve done stuff supporting teachers locally, giving away some money toward their classrooms,” said Coute. “They’re spending their own money to get their classrooms all set. This kind of defers some of the cost for them.”
In December, the dealership contributed $1,020 to LAMA (Local Area Mutual Aid), raising funds through a vehicle sales promotion. “That money could probably last the whole year for what they’re going to use it for,” said Coute, who explained the funds go toward essential supplies like food and blankets.
Supporting Events That Strengthen Community Bonds
Littleton Chevrolet is a proud sponsor of popular local events such as First Fridays and Bethlehem Gazebo Concerts. Coute sees value in providing free events for families. “Not a lot of things in life are free,” he said. “People that are really on a strict budget, have children, and work hard deserve an opportunity to get out there and have a great time with their family.”
Their sponsorship extends to seasonal events such as the Gathering of the Jack-O-Lanterns and Littleton Pride, helping bring the town together for memorable and inclusive celebrations.
Employee Growth and Retention
Internally, the dealership is equally committed to its team. Longevity and employee development are embedded in its culture. Coute is the longest-serving employee in the AutoSaver Group, and he’s proud of the career pathways available at the dealership. “I bet you there’s probably eight to ten different people in this organization that have worked themselves up the ladder into some sort of leadership or management role,” he said.
That culture of learning and advancement ensures high service standards and a team that truly understands the business. “We’ve cultivated a culture here that warrants our employees to do a great job and to learn multiple job positions,” Coute added.
Expert Service with Decades of Experience
Littleton Chevrolet’s service department is known for its capability and reliability. “We probably average over 20 years of experience individually,” Coute said. That experience translates into quick, accurate diagnoses and solutions, often attracting customers who have been frustrated elsewhere.
The dealership offers comprehensive services, from regular maintenance to bodywork, and is also equipped to handle modern electric vehicles. With three levels of EV charging stations onsite, they’re prepared to meet the needs of a growing number of electric vehicle owners.
Exclusively Chevrolet, Open Six Days a Week
Littleton Chevrolet focuses solely on Chevrolet vehicles, ensuring deep product knowledge and brand-specific service. Sales operations run Monday through Saturday, while service, parts, and the body shop are open Monday through Friday.
Looking Forward
Over the decades, Littleton Chevrolet has grown alongside the town. Coute reflects on the evolution of the community with optimism. “This town was at its crossroads in 1992, and the leaders put their heads down and had a vision. Pretty much all of those 25 bullet points have come true,” he said. “Now, the next level of people are stepping up to make it even better.”
