Owner and operator Tim “Bimmer” Corey grew up in the North Country and developed an early connection to construction through family involvement in the trades. “I started doing carpentry around 2009 or 2010,” he shared. “That evolved into being a lead builder, and when that company closed, I opened my own.” That decision marked the beginning of North Woods Construction, a business built on both experience and a genuine passion for creating something tangible and lasting.
From Boston Back to the North Country
Before returning to the region, he spent time working in Boston as a union welder. While the experience offered valuable skills and perspective, it also reinforced Bimmer’s desire to return home. “I enjoyed it, but commuting three hours one way every day was really annoying,” he said. “I wanted to get back up here and away from the city.” That return to the North Country has shaped not only his lifestyle but also the way he approaches his work today.

North Woods Construction offers a wide range of services, including roofing, siding, decks, garages, full home builds, excavation, foundations, and land clearing. The company is known for its flexibility and willingness to take on diverse projects. “We don’t really say no to much,” Bimmer explained, emphasizing a commitment to meeting client needs with practical solutions and skilled execution.

Many projects begin with only a general idea from the client, allowing the team to design and execute a custom solution. “A lot of customers tell you what they want, but they don’t come with plans,” he said. “They come to us, I draw them up, and then they get to see a complete project that is basically put together out of my brain.” That process highlights both craftsmanship and trust.
Among his favorite projects was a custom deck built with complete creative freedom. “They knew what size they wanted, but they didn’t have an idea of how they wanted it to look,” he recalled. “They let us go all out.” The result was a high-end design featuring stainless steel hardware and cable railings, a project that continues to represent the quality and detail North Woods Construction strives for.
Serving the Region with Pride
Operating primarily within a 50-mile radius of Littleton, the business focuses on serving New Hampshire communities. Working locally has its advantages, especially when it comes to understanding the landscape and lifestyle of the region. “We just live in such a nice area,” he said. “You get to work on properties with incredible views. It makes the job that much better.”
The company is typically a small, family-driven operation, often working alongside his father and bringing in additional help when needed. This structure allows for close attention to detail and consistent quality across projects.

In an industry where trust is critical, North Woods Construction places a strong emphasis on reputation and proven results. “I’d want to see previous builds and know they have a good reputation,” he said. “There are a lot of contractors out there, and not all of them deliver what they promise.”
He also noted a distinct difference in work ethic shaped by the region. “People from up here work so much harder than a lot of other places,” he explained. “We’re on tighter budgets, and everyone knows their role and works efficiently to get the job done right.”
Giving Back to the Community

The company proudly sponsors Free Rein Rescue, a local organization focused on rescuing and rehabilitating horses while offering equine therapy services. Giving back remains an important part of the company’s identity and mission.
