Granite State Independent Living

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting quality of life with independence for people with disabilities across New Hampshire. GSIL offers 16 consumer-directed programs and services that empower individuals of all ages to live life to the fullest in their homes and communities.

Key services include in-home personal care, nursing facility transition assistance, transportation, peer support, benefits counseling, employment services, and home accessibility modifications. GSIL also provides advocacy, education, and access to refurbished durable medical equipment.

With a mission to promote social and economic equity for people with disabilities, GSIL fills service gaps and turns challenges into opportunities for independent living. Over 51% of GSIL’s board and staff live with a disability, bringing valuable experience and perspective.

Serving more than 2,500 consumers annually across NH, GSIL’s expert team delivers personalized solutions with compassion. 88% of revenue directly supports GSIL’s impactful programs.
