Prema Shala is a heart‑centered yoga and healing arts studio in Littleton, NH. We offer yoga classes, meditation, Satsang, workshops, retreats, yoga teacher training and one‑on‑one healing sessions. Our mindful goods shop features good quality yoga and meditation supplies, books, stationary, jewelry, candles and more. All items are chosen with intention. Christina Alexa has lived inside the practice of yoga for most of her life, not as a discipline achieved, but as a language that has always spoken to her soul. She came to the mat at eight years old, began teaching in 1998, and has spent the decades since building communities in which people reclaim their power and remember what they already know. Christina is the founder and director of the Abhyasa Yoga Institute, RYS, a registered yoga school with the National Yoga Alliance, through which she has trained and mentored yoga teachers in the art of skillful, heart-centered teaching. For Christina, teacher training places the tools of life into our hands through methodology, practically applied philosophy, and most importantly through teaching others how to hold strong and sacred containers with energetic integrity. The Abhyasa Yoga Institute Teacher Training programs are about helping people find the courage, knowledge, skill, and heart to show up fully, in service of others. AYI offers 200- and 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs. Christina is also co-founder of Enjoy the Journey Retreats, a national wellness program offering weekend “camp” immersions at YMCA locations in natural environments across the country.
