Downtown Littleton is known for its charm, and much of that comes from its stunning seasonal decorations; hanging flower baskets, American flags, and the illuminated holiday globes that line Main Street. Other projects that add measurable charm to the downtown area include the summer piano project, the Christmas tree on the Littleton Public Library front law, and the colorful umbrellas and starburst lights in the Pollyanna Gateway. These beautification efforts, spearheaded by the Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce, play a vital role in making our town inviting for residents, businesses, and visitors alike and help ensure that Littleton keeps hitting so many national top ten lists year after year.
How Is Main Street Beautification Funded?
Each year, the Chamber funds Main Street’s beautification projects through a petitioned warrant article. For 2026, we’re requesting a 10% increase in warrant article funding as in the past two years. It should be noted that increase does not cover the full costs of our beautification efforts from year to year. Due to rising costs for flowers, watering labor, and other materials, we need additional financial contributions from the community to cover these expenses.
Last Year’s Success: A Community Effort
In 2024, the incredible generosity of local businesses and individuals made it possible to fund these efforts. This year, we’re asking for your support once again to ensure the continuation of these beloved decorations. Community contributions are not only vital for funding but also instrumental in gaining Select Board support for this initiative.

To ensure the success of this year’s initiative, we need as many contributions as possible by Tuesday, February 6th. Early support helps us demonstrate strong community backing to the Select Board ahead of the March Town Meeting, where the warrant article will be considered.
